I've manually downloaded mods and I'm having very few issues with the voice acting mods: I'm running vanilla XCOM 2 (GOG version) - played XCOM on XBOX One for ages but I bought this for the mod scene. (If I aim Vortex manually at the WOTC folder, it just uses the main game folder) But having to add them to the config seems like a chore, and I'm quite frustrated, that this seems to be such a "huge" problem. The only way I've found so far, is to manually add all mods. ![]() The problem is that Vortex doesn't specifically start WOTC, only the main game. With Vortex you can easly activate/deactivate mods, and also manage the loading order of the mods. In this post I have explained how I manage the mods with Vortex. I also use this tool to download Steam Workshop mods I use Vortex for managing the mods (Vortex can be downloaded from the Nexus Mods site). The mods are both from Nexus and Steam Workshop.
